The centerpiece of the bespoke built UES residence is the unique goatskin parchment wall in the great room. It is balanced throughout the transformed home by high gloss, hand-polished Macassar ebony wall paneling in the entryway and bedroom. The one-of-a-kind foyer is a piece of art in its own right with mirrored sub-surface glass-encased woven panels with hand applied caning.
Satin lacquer wall paneling sets an impressive backdrop for the living area of the Upper East Side home. A made-to-measure gypsum stone fireplace surround with bronze trimming and expertly hand-applied patina anchors the space. In the sitting room, cerused rift white oak paneling with parchment brings a calming energy.
Solid surface Corian walls and refrigerator panels balance the custom crafted dark-stained white oak cabinets in this highly functional renovated kitchen. Glass cabinet doors and a hand-polished, high gloss lacquer column are visual highlights. Stone counters and backsplash along with a basalt stone floor ground the kitchen design.
Recessed and trimless LED lighting fixtures controlled by Lutron Radio Ra preserve the clean lines throughout the smart home. In the bedroom, radiators are encased in custom constructed satin lacquer enclosures with integrated Corian surface tops and CNC patterned radiator grills for a seamless and functional design.
The bathrooms are enveloped in rainbow sandstone slabs with custom walnut vanities. In the study, a custom fabricated Murphy bed is hidden seamlessly behind a straw marquetry accent wall and art. Custom built shelving incorporate starburst straw marquetry millwork with hand patinated bronze exterior frames.
